I bought this book several years ago and loved it. I am a layman, but a serious student of the bible. I own and use lots of commentaries, but this is one of the few that I have read cover to cover. It makes Leviticus come alive and I learned a lot. In fact I thought so highly of this commentary, that I bought several additional copies and gave them to seminary students that I know.Product details

I enjoyed studying "The book of Leviticus" with the ThruTheBible program. Samuel Kellogg gave clear interpretations and was a great aid.
I haven't finished this book yet but I do really like what I have read. Although you really need to concentrate on what you read, it helps you to distinguish between the different sacrifices and to more fully understand them.
He uses the rv bible but otherwise it is probably the best instruction on the book of leviticus there is.
This is excellent read. Kellogg goes through all the moral implications of the ceremonial laws in the book of Leviticus. He goes through pointing out things I'd never considered before. You will not only understand the book of Leviticus better, but you will understand the person and work of Christ better. I highly recommend this book.
